Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time position for a Senior Tax Accountant in San Antonio, Texas. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing tax returns (1040, 1120-S, 1065, 1041, 990, etc.) for current and future clients. They will also represent clients with IRS issues and tax compliance. They will be responsible for preparing and maintaining their own workbook of clients which will be reviewed by a partner at the firm.

Qualifications:

• ​​CPA certification or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting

• Heavy focus in Individual, Trust & Partnership tax

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and laws

• Experience in tax planning and preparation

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Products

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment​
